The Before Trilogy consists of three American romance films directed by Richard Linklater, and starring Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy. Beginning with Before Sunrise (1995), and continuing with two sequels, Before Sunset (2004) and Before Midnight (2013).
Before Sunrise. A French grad student named Celine (Julie Delpy) meets an American boy named Jesse (Ethan Hawke) on the Budapest-Vienna train. They get off the train in Vienna and hang out for a while. Rentals include 30 days to start watching this video and 48 hours to finish once started.
Céline, a French art student at the Sorbonne, is heading back to Paris. As the two perfect strangers have a chance encounter with destiny aboard a fast train, they make eye contact, smile, have some coffee in the buffet car, and strike up the most profound conversation of their lives.
