Jun 30, 2023 · Take a trip to Bremerton, Washington! It’s the largest city in Kitsap County and it’s primarily known for its Naval Shipyard. There are plenty of opportunities to learn about the Navy’s role in the Pacific Northwest here. But that barely scratches the surface of all the things to do in Bremerton.
Bremerton is the largest city in the region and has the largest terminal for one of four WA State Ferry routes from the Seattle area to the Kitsap Peninsula. 1. Seattle to Bremerton ferry. Seattle has some beautiful ferry rides, and the trip out to Bremerton is amongst the best. The Bremerton Ferry leaves from Pier 52 on the Seattle Waterfront, and travels west along Elliot Bay, past Bainbridge Island, then through the quieter waters of Sinclair Inlet.
Bremerton is a city in Kitsap County, Washington, United States. Planned in 1891 by German immigrant, William Bremer, the town was officially incorporated in 1901.
