Yeon Sang-ho had previously grabbed global attention with his 2016 zombie thriller film Train to Busan. Since then, he has continued to impress audiences as well as critics with his work on Netflix including Jung_E, Kdrma series Hellbound and Parasyte: The Grey. Currently, Hellbound is also planning to bring a new season soon, reports THR.
The film is produced by Wow Point, whose recent projects include the Netflix series The Bequeathed and Parasyte: The Grey, which is an adaptation of the legendary Japanese manga Parasyte. The company is also working with Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way to back Yeon Sang-ho's first English-language horror film 35th Street.
