Following Lindsay's murder conviction on the season finale, season 7 opens with Lindsay being sentenced to life in prison. Bobby tries to keep it together, and chooses Rebecca to lead Lindsay's appeal.
The Practice is an American legal drama created by David E. Kelley centring on the partners and associates at a Boston law firm. The series was broadcast for eight seasons from 1997 to 2004, initially as a mid-season replacement .
In season 7, Lindsay leaves Donnell, Young, Dole and Frutt to start a new law firm with Claire Wyatt. To fill the void left by Lindsay, Jamie Stringer is hired as an associate. Bobby later leaves the firm.
