Visitors to West Branch can traverse the park's woods and meadows by foot, bike, or horseback via miles of scenic trails, including a link to the statewide Buckeye Trail. The landscaped marked by a large stand of beech-maple woodlands harbors a variety of plant and animal life.

There are so many fun things to do at this park; hiking, biking, frisbee golf, sand beach, playground for kids, camping, and more. I launched my kayak at the Rock Spring Road launch just south of route 5. There is plenty of parking and plenty of room to drive up to the water and take your time (during the week anyway).
