Soft sand, but layers of rocks that are tough to walk on and lots of rocks in the water. The water was too cold to swim (late May) but was refreshing to dip in quickly.

White Horse Beach is my favorite beach. This is mostly based on the clear fresh water and the soft blanket of sand. Don’t get me wrong it does have its rocky parts. It is much more private and secluded than Plymouth Beach.
