Question about using a YouTube instrumental and purchasing a beat lease and/or the instrumental itself
1 day ago · I have a pretty large collection of hardware synths that I want to integrate into my S1 workflow and I've got them all configured as external instruments and ready to go. What I'm specifically interested in knowing is how to store MIDI CC names, patches, program changes, etc. for each synth the way I have them set up in Logic.

1 day ago · Overall it should just be the same functionality with less floppy drive nonsense and more memory. Care should be taken to have the ADAC path be as close as possible, if possible no emulation. Option to disable the lowpass filter in the AD path. Maybe enable CC control of the butterworth filters in the DA path? Not a must but would be killer.
1 day ago · If one range goes out of bounds, it should just show a red value or something and still let the user enter whatever they like. As for FabFilter user interfaces in general. My feeling is that they are excellent at doing simple things.. but as soon as the plugins get complex (Twin3, timeless 3, Saturn 2 etc) then they always fall a bit short.
Best best is to recreate it, or layer instruments under it to cover up the fack that the sounda are thin. Like you mentioned all violins are crap, violin vsts that are good are costly and to make them sound realistic takes time, so maybe get a vst violin sounding as good as you can, and put it under the extracted one, maybe cut some high ...
