Oct 9, 2017 · The Chief Seattle Council is one of seven Scouts BSA councils in Washington. It serves the Puget Sound region, including Seattle and the Olympic Peninsula. The Seattle council traces its origins to 1911, just one year after the Boy Scouts of America were organized. The national BSA formally chartered the Chief Seattle Council on December 8, 1916.
