Harris Manchester College (HMC) is one of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. It was founded in Warrington in 1757 as a college for Unitarian students and moved to Oxford in 1893.
Harris Manchester is the only Oxford college which is dedicated solely to mature students (21+ with no upper age limit). It has a warm and friendly atmosphere in which each student is supported and treated as an individual.
Harris Manchester College (HMC) is the only college in the University of Oxford dedicated to taking students, both undergraduate and postgraduate, aged 21 or over. This means we are a vibrant and diverse community, with students of different ages from a wide range of backgrounds and countries.

Harris Manchester College is one of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford founded in 1757 as a college for Unitarian students. It became a full college in 1996, when it changes its name to commemorate its predecessor the Manchester Academy and a benefaction by Lord Harris of Peckham.
Harris Manchester College. HMC is a small friendly college which only takes students who are over 21. HMC's roots are in the north of England where it was originally an institute for nonconformists who were proscribed from attending Oxbridge. One of its early tutors was Joseph Priestley.
