Admission Options. Early Decision - Deadline is Nov. 1, 2023. Typically, about 10 percent of Amherst applicants choose our binding Early Decision (ED) option. As an Early Decision applicant to Amherst, you agree not to be an ED candidate at any other college.
For first-year admission, our Early Decision application deadline is November 1; our Regular Decision deadline is January 1. For transfer admission, our application deadline for spring semester enrollment is November 1; for fall semester transfer enrollment, the deadline is March 1.

Regular Decision admission applications must be submitted through Common Application or Apply Coalition, Powered by Scoir, by this date. January 10, 2024 (Regular Decision) All required financial aid forms and supporting documentation for the CSS Profile must be received for all Regular Decision financial aid applicants.
