Jun 10, 2023 · I'm glad all the customers at my store are too chicken to confront people. They just squawk and walk away, or they squawk while I walk away. One time I had to show a lady my dead, uncaring eyes before she just shut up and left, and it was over a can of soup. I literally cannot be bothered with some people.

TLDR: Walmart operates on a Justin Time model which is dysfunctional because one call out can take days to recover from. Spending the time to make the customer happy will make the market unhappy. I wfh for Walmart. Generally it’s an okay gig, but I’m currently on my fifth team after having team lead changes five times in 10 months. Recently my department merged with two other departments, so it was up in the air when we would be trained for these two other departments, billing and photos.
I worked for a Walmart Superstore from 2003 to 2007. It sucked. They train you with a bunch of propaganda about how great the Waltons are and how they're changing the world.
