A former professional rugby player and an Australian native of Samoan heritage, Jordan Mailata was originally selected by Philadelphia in the seventh round (233rd overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft, despite having no prior football experience. Since being drafted, Mailata has started 57 of the 62 games he has played.
