Billy Brown has been in jail, but his parents think that he's married and successful. When he can't find anywhere in Buffalo where he can pee, he runs desperately into a dance studio to use the washroom. He winds up kidnapping a dance student, Layla to bring home and show off to his parents.
Gallo wrote, composed and performed the original music for the films Buffalo '66 (1998), The Agent (1990) and Promises Written in Water (2010). In the 1980s, Gallo reached the professional level of Grand Prix motorcycle racing, though he did not win a national championship.

Jun 26, 1998 · Buffalo '66 is an easy film to dislike, especially in the opening minutes. The way the female lead is mistreated arouses anger. But a few more minutes in and the film begins to reveal an edgy, dark humor and bitter honesty that is somewhat reminiscent of Coen Brothers and Jarmusch films.
