In 19th-century Pennsylvania, a small, remote village lives in fear of nameless humanoid-creatures that inhabit the surrounding woods. Staffed watchtowers and tall poles with oil lamps line the village perimeter for protection. The color red is banned, as it attracts the creatures.
The Village is a fourth generation family-owned and operated restaurant that brings traditions to life. For almost 100 years, we have been serving a menu of Italian-American classics as well as Italian specialties in the heart of downtown Chicago.

The Village opened in 1927 in downtown Chicago, and not much has changed since at this old school Italian spot. Known for classic dishes, a unique atmosphere, and an extensive wine list.
