Cedric Thorpe Davie (30 May 1913, Lewisham, South London – 18 January 1983) was a Scottish composer, music educator, conductor, organist and hornist. Thorpe Davie studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (RSAMD) in Glasgow, among others by William Gillies Whittaker and R. Harold Thomson.
