William Osborne (born 1960) is an English barrister, screenwriter, author, and company director. He lived in Hollywood from the 1980s to 2001, after which he returned to England and began writing children’s fiction.
After graduating from Cambridge University, William Osborne became a lawyer, but his career took a sharp turn when he switched to screenwriting in Hollywood. He has worked on over 60 movies including Twins, Goldeneye and The Mummy. He lives in Norfolk, England with his wife and four children.

William Osborne is a British barrister, screenwriter, film producer and novelist. He was educated at Gresham’s School, Norfolk, Robert Louis Stevenson School, California and is a Scholar of St John’s College, Cambridge University, (MA in Law 1986).
