Nicklas Larsen Schmidt was born in 1976 in Aarhus, Denmark. His main musical education he received at the composition faculty of St. Petersburg State Conservatoire named after Rimsky-Korsakov, in Russia, from which he graduated in 2003 (Diploma with Honors).
