Edward Ray Goetz (June 12, 1886 – June 12, 1954) was an American composer, lyricist, playwright, theatre director, and theatrical producer. A Tin Pan Alley songwriter, he published more than 500 songs during his career, many of them originally written for the New York stage.

He wrote the Broadway stage scores for "The Never Homes", "The Hen Pecks", "Hokey-Pokey", "Hanky-Panky", "Roly-Poly", "All Aboard", "The Pleasure Seekers", and "Hitchy-Koo" (he also was a co-producer), between 1917 and 1918, and also "George White's Scandals of 1922".
