Barbara Norene Pariot (born 2 April 1948, Los Angeles) is an American actress, voice artist, and costume designer. She was the voice of Valerie Brown on Josie and the Pussy Cats.
Pariot's live-action TV appearances include a 1969 episode of the NBC western Bonanza, a 1988 episode of the CBS series Simon & Simon, and several prime-time sitcoms.

Barbara Pariot is an American screen and voice actress, best known for her role as Valerie on Hanna-Barbera's Josie and the Pussycats. She also guest-starred on one episode of the sitcom, Sister, Sister.

Hanna-Barbera initiated this in order to replace Pepper with African-American Valerie to keep Patrice Holloway. They then hired African-American Barbara Pariot as Valerie's speaking voice.
