Trash Talk is an American hardcore punk band from Sacramento, California, formed in 2005. They have toured all around the world including Japan and Europe, as well as performed in many festivals in support of their releases which helped give the band recognition from publications including Rolling Stone .
One of Trash Talk's most compelling songs to date is "Awake", the doubly shouted 2-minute title track from a five-song, 8-minute 7" EP, out next month on True Panther.

At first glance the meteoric rise of Sacramento hardcore mob, Trash Talk over the last year or so appears unprecedented. A band with such unrelenting rage, absence of traditional structure and downright diabolical lyrics should be found nowhere near mainstream festivals and journalistic outlets.
“Awake” is a five track EP kicking you in the teeth consistently from start to end. The title track is a blaze of venom, fast riffs and smashed cymbals. Slander sounds like the instruments have been fast forwarded to the point where you can’t believe a human could play that fast.
