Jesse Andrews (born September 15, 1982) is an American novelist and screenwriter. He co-wrote the screenplay for the Pixar film Luca and wrote both the novel and the feature-film adaptation of Me and Earl and the Dying Girl.

THE HATERS (Amulet Books, 2016) is my second novel. It is the story of three teenagers, Wes, Corey, and Ash, who meet at jazz camp and decide to run away and go on tour together. I wrote it in part to capture my own experiences being on tour with the bands I was in when I was a lot younger.
