“Dream on Dreamer” Shocking Blue´s seventh album from 1973 is one of their most obscure, and probably not known by very many people. This is quite undeserved, as it features many great van Leeuwen songs. “Time Slips Away”, “Diana in Her Dreams” and “Save Your Love” are classic Shocking Blue type of songs.
Overview. This two-fer from Repertoire features a pair of out of print Shocking Blue LPs: Dream on Dreamer and Good Times. Originally issued in 1974, these 31 tracks are surprisingly better than might be expected from a one-hit wonder. Shocking Blue 's 1969 hit, "Venus," is also available on Singles A's & B's (also on Repertoire ). ~ Al Campbell.
