    • Go All the Way. By far, The Raspberries’ most popular song was their big-time 1972 hit “Go All The Way.” The song was not only the Raspberries’ biggest hit, but it stands as one of the most cherished songs of the 1970s.

Another member, Wally Bryson and John Aleksic, were also Choir members, rounding out the group. The overall style of the band recaptured a lost era in music.

When Smalley returned home after his tour of duty in Vietnam he was brought into the band first as rhythm guitarist and later as bassist.
