David Garrett (screenwriter) David Garrett is an American filmmaker best known for directing and producing the feature-length documentary film Who Is Alvin Greene? following South Carolina 's unlikely Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate Alvin Greene on the 2010 campaign trail. The film is co-directed and co-produced by Leslie Beaumont.
Garrett has also written and produced pilots, series & specials for ABC, NBC, CBS, UPN, MTV, USA, Comedy Central, Showtime and Fox. In 2008, David sold the half hour reality show “I’ve Never” to Reveille and the one-hour dramedy “Citizen’s Arrest” to the USA Network. Previously, he co-wrote the half hour pilot “Central” for CW.
