Steven Kampmann is an American screenwriter and film director. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Kampmann was one of the main writers for the radio station-themed sitcom "WKRP in Cincinnati" (1978-1981). As one of the show's producers, he was nominated for a 1981 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series.
