In 1982, Shri. Lalji Mehrotra founded the Gandhi Vocational Training Institute in Vileparle, Mumbai, offering modular courses in employable skills. In 1999, the institute moved to Jogeshwari (E), a suburban area of the city across from the Hema Industrial Estate, which is 2.5 kilometres away from MIDC, Seepz, and Andheri (E), Mumbai.
Selection: Through Online Centralized admission process by directorate of vocational education & training for 80% of the seats. 20% management quota seats will be filled by institute. Institute will also support the candidate for filling the form of online admission with no cost.
