Eva (Schick) Beckmann. Born in Prague, Czechoslovakia. Her husband to be, Fred Beckmann, brought her from Theresienstadt to Prague in 1945. In 1950, they were married. Together, they came to California in 1952 where she worked as a show room secretary in the “shmata” business. After having a daughter, Paulette, she became a full time mom.
