Pranay was born in Warangal, Telangana. He did his elementary schooling in Platinum Jubilee High School [PJHS], Warangal, an Agha Khan educational society school and later moved to Siddhartha Residential Public School [SRPS] in Boduuppal, Hyderabad. His younger brother is Sandeep Reddy Vanga the director of Arjun Reddymovie.
Pranay did his under-graduation Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Gulbarga University, REC Bhalki, Karnataka.
