Oct 6, 2022 · Jiang Tao (姜涛, born 1970) is a Beijing poet and literary critic and the author of four slender collections of selected and new poems: 鸟经 (Bird scripture), 好消息 (Good news), 我们共同的美好生活 (Our beautiful life together), and 洞中一日 (A day in the cave).
Design and analysis of algorithms. We study discrete objects such as strings, trees, graphs, etc., and have a special interest in the design of efficient approximation algorithms with good performance bounds. Our past work includes approximation algorithms for shortest common superstrings and directed Steiner trees.
Tao Jiang is a scholar of early Chinese and Buddhist philosophy at Rutgers University. He has published books and papers on topics such as moral-political philosophy, Yogācāra Buddhism, Freudian reception, and Chan Buddhism.
