Jessica gets caught up in a web of international intrigue and rogue government agents when a deadly virus is stolen from the Biological Research Institute.

Cause of death: injection in neck; sniper gun shot
Motive: arms dealer wanted to get the virus instead; Reisner had figured out that one of the agents was double-crossing the agencies to sell the live virus, so Lamont told Crider to eliminate him.
Despite the title, This episode (unfortunately) does not have and/or has anything to do with Mrs. Parker (aka Valerie), the role played by Betsy Palmer, in the Season 5 episode “Something Borrowed, Someone Blue”. Betsy Palmer still only appears in 2 of the series’ episodes. There is a different Mrs. Parker which is the namesake character of this episode, who is a character in an inspection dysentery novel that Jessica wrote.
Crider may have had a hand in the murder of Mark Resiner, he planned it & it also played out, but did he muzzle the weapon, did he handle the weapon & did he fire the weapon? NO. They can get him on conspiracy to kill but they can't prove he fired the weapon, now can they?
