Philip Taptiklis is a New Zealand business consultant of Greek and English descent. He is the father of actor Theo James, who starred in Divergent and Underworld.
Theodore Peter James Kinnaird Taptiklis was born in High Wycombe on 16 December 1984. He is the son of Philip Taptiklis, a business consultant, and Jane (née Martin), who worked for the National Health Service. His grandfather was a Greek refugee. He is also of part Scottish descent.
