Marta Donzelli was born in Turin in 1975. She lives and works in Rome. After a graduate degree, she finished her PhD in Philosophy in 2004, with a thesis on Edmund Husserl. The same year, with Gregorio Paonessa, she established Vivo film, an independent production company for art-house films.
