Peter G. Schultz (born June 23, 1956) is an American chemist. He is the CEO and Professor of Chemistry at The Scripps Research Institute, [1] the founder and former director of GNF, [2] and the founding director of the California Institute for Biomedical Research (Calibr), established in 2012.
The Schultz Lab at Scripps Research in La Jolla, CA, aims to create novel molecules with new functions by combining natural and synthetic approaches. The lab studies the properties and applications of these molecules in biological and chemical systems, and publishes its research in prestigious journals.
