Gilles De Schryver (December 12, 1984) is a Belgian film, TV and theater actor, writer and producer. Graduated in 2009 as a master in drama at the Hogeschool Gent Conservatorium. Is perfectly bilingual (Dutch and French). He played in French-language productions for the Théâtre National and the Royal Mint Theater.

Gilles-Maurice de Schryver (born 15 September 1971) is a professor of African linguistics in the department of languages and cultures at Ghent University, Belgium, where he is active within the KongoKing research project, and an extraordinary professor in the Xhosa department at the University of the Western Cape, South Africa.
Gilles De Schryver (°84) is a Belgian film-, TV- and theater -actor, -writer –director and –producer. De Schryver is the artistic director of the structurally subventioned Ghent-based theater company ‘het KIP’. In the shows of ‘het KIP’ he can be seen in- and outside of Europe in Dutch, in English as well as in French.
