    Ironside was a Syndication network crime drama series created by Collier Young, starring Raymond Burr in the lead role.

    The show aired from September 14, 1967 to January 16, 1975, lasting for eight seasons & 199 episodes. It was produced by Harbour Productions Unlimited, and sometimes filmed in front of a live studio audience.

    The series centered on Robert T. Ironside, the former Chief of Detectives of the San Francisco Police Department, who was forced to retire from the police department after a sniper's bullet to the spine paralyzed him from the waist down, leaving him in a wheelchair.
