Savini was born on November 3, 1946, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and is of Italian descent. He was raised Catholic and graduated from Central Catholic High School. "Fortunately, in our building, we’ve stocked up for the next few months," said Savini. "But all that’s really out there right now is shreds and bits."
