Federico Álvarez (born February 9, 1978; familiar form is "Fede", pr. "Feh-deh") is a Uruguayan filmmaker. He is known for directing Evil Dead (2013) and Don't Breathe (2016), as well as his short film Ataque de pánico! (2009).
