Former Forsyth County District 1 Commissioner and Vice-Chairwoman Molly Cooper died Wednesday following a battle with pancreatic cancer. Cooper was elected as District 1 commissioner in 2018 to serve a term from 2019 to 2021. She was later selected by the Board of Commissioners to serve as a secretary in 2020 and vice-chairwoman in 2021 and 2022.
