May 16, 2022 · San Diego based metalcore group As I Lay Dying have announced the departure of their bassist/vocalist Josh Gilbert. His exit from the band follows that of guitarist Nick Hipa, who revealed his departure in August of last year.
On May 16, 2022, it was announced that bassist and clean vocalist Josh Gilbert left the band after 15 years. The band announced Ryan Neff from Miss May I would play bass on their upcoming tour. Around the same time, it was announced Unearth guitarist Ken Susi would play guitar on the band's upcoming tour as a replacement for Hipa.
