Our Story. Valerie Gordon and her husband and partner Stan Weightman Jr. started Valerie Confections out of their Los Angeles apartment in 2004 with six flavors of hand-dipped toffee.
Nov 15, 2013 · Gordon’s just-published cookbook, “Sweet: Inspired Ingredients, Unforgettable Desserts” (Artisan), chronicles the menu of iconic cakes, petit fours, pies, cookies, chocolates, jams and more.
