Wild Obsession may not be as impressive as Pell's later works, but it's still a solid debut album with plenty to offer fans of melodic hard rock and virtuoso guitar heroics. If you're new to Axel Rudi Pell's work, I'd suggest starting with one of his later albums (my first was The Masquerade Ball) and eventually looping back around to this one.
