    Manuli was born in the Italian city of Milan. He moved to New York in 1987 to pursue acting. Davide studied at the Actors Studio and the Lee Strasberg Institute. He later became the personal assistant of acting coach Charlie Laughton for Al Pacino’sChal Productions in New York.

    Manuli started his career as an actor in 1991, playing the role of Beppo in the film "The Enchanted April," followed by his leading role as Anton Menescu in the film "The Contenders."
