Desmond "Des" Saunders (June 24th, 1926 - April 21st, 2018) was a director and writer who was best known for his work on numerous AP Films productions. Saunders was a director on Thunderbirds, directing 11 episodes, as well as co-writing an original audio story with voice actor David Graham.
He gave invaluable help with research for 21st Century Visions, and was later interviewed for Filmed in Supermarionation - both the book and documentary.
•Desmond Saunders co-wrote the Century 21 Records audio-story F.A.B. with David Graham. This story was subsequently turned into a Thunderbirds 1965 episode.
