Aug 8, 2012 · It's not Henry's earlier falsetto-style soulful music. It was apparently an attempt to move into the mainstream sound of the time, and it's not what Henry is good at. Even the cover art is a clue, with the leather jacket and tough-guy attitude is a radical change that, in my opinion, is going against his nature.

Henry Gross (born April 1, 1951) is an American singer-songwriter best known for his association with the group Sha Na Na and for his hit song, "Shannon". Gross is considered a one-hit wonder artist; none of his other songs reached the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.
