Carolyn (Zeifman) Cronenberg. Our beloved Carolyn passed away at home on June 19, 2017. Carolyn had a career in film editing and filmmaking. She met David Cronenberg in 1977 while she was working as a production assistant on David’s early science-fiction horror movie “Rabid.”
Carolyn Cronenberg was born on 22 August 1950. She was a cinematographer and producer, known for The Brood (1979), A Dangerous Method (2011) and Rabid (1977). She was married to David Cronenberg. She died on 19 June 2017 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Cronenberg has been married twice: first to sound recordist Margaret Hindson, from 1970 to 1977, with whom he had one daughter, Cassandra Cronenberg (born 1972); then to cinematographer Carolyn Zeifman, from 1979 until her death in 2017, with whom he had one son, Brandon Cronenberg (born 1980), and one daughter, Caitlin Cronenberg (born 1984).
