Josh Rimes is a member of Lucasfilm Ltd., serving in his current role as Vice President, Animation Development and Production. Rimes joined Lucasfilm in December 2015 as a Creative Executive within the Lucasfilm Story Group, concurrently serving as a development executive for Star Wars Rebels and LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures, and associate producer for Star Wars Forces of Destiny and The Freemaker Adventures until March 2018.
In April, Rimes transitioned to Director, Animation Development and was the associate producer and co-producer for Star Wars Resistance Season One and Star Wars Resistance Season Two, respectively. Additionally, Rimes was the developer and a producer of LEGO Star Wars: All-Stars, a producer of Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures, an associate producer for Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the developer and executive producer of The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special, a producer of Star Wars: The Bad Batch, and finally an executive producer of Star Wars: Visions. In December 2021, Rimes transitioned to his current role as Vice President, Animation Development and Production. He was an executive producer for the Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures animated series.
