Lou Wills Hildreth (July 13, 1928 – February 28, 2019) was an American Southern gospel performer, songwriter, talent agent and television host. She was the first woman to have owned a talent agency in the Southern gospel industry as the president of the Nashville Talent Agency.
Mainly seen in smaller roles, often as a dancer, Lou Wills Jr. was a regular on the Broadway stage for decades, performing in the original productions of such hits as Cole Porter’s Something for the Boys and Kurt Weill’s One Touch of Venus, as well as in the musical version of A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.
One of the greatest acrobatic tap dancers of all time. He was the protege of the great Lou Wills, who taught him the acrobatic moves you are seeing above.
