May 26, 2016 · Mark Elijah Rosenberg is a filmmaker and the Founder and former Artistic Director of Rooftop Films. Born and raised in New York City, Rosenberg received his BA from Vassar College and began showing movies on his roof in 1997.
Approaching the Unknown (formerly Ad Inexplorata) is a philosophical sci-fi film about a man alone on a one-way mission in outer space. Captain William D. Stanaforth, a scientist who is willing to risk his life to for his experiments, is making the journey to Mars intent on starting a colony.
Mark Elijah Rosenberg is the Founder and Artistic Director of Rooftop Films. Born and raised in New York City, Mark received his BA in Film Studies at Vassar College before returning to the City to translate his study of film into an artistic and curatorial career.
