Not to be confused with the theme park attraction Disney's Hollywood Studios. Hollywood Pictures was one of the Walt Disney Company's several alternate movie divisions. Like Disney's Touchstone Pictures brand, it produced films for a more mature adult audience than Walt Disney Pictures.

At the end of that decade, combined with Touchstone's output, Walt Disney Pictures elevated Disney to one of Hollywood's major film studios.
