What's your take? BTW: While I think there are stronger songs on UHS and Now, IMHO they are not as cohesive an album as the other two. Your take?
Jan 12, 2017 · I feel like I'm losing touch with Maxwell, and I don't want to. I've been listening to the albums in the last week or two, shuffling songs, etc. I still quite love Urban Hang Suite. It's such a perfect record. unplugged is actually next for me, but as far as studio albums, it's Embrya in second place.
Maxwell is cool. His first album Urban Hang Suite sounded a lot like a Sade project, not surprising because it was coproduced by Sade guitarist and saxman Stuart Mathewman. His second album Embrya was also great, though the overall feel was totally different, more airy and less dark, watery and very flowing.
